Letter From the Chief
Welcome to the Oologah Police Department’s webpage. Thank you for visiting our page and taking the time to learn more about us. You will be able to find links to forms such as records requests, complaint forms, applications, etc. on the page and hopefully get to know our officers.
The Oologah Police Department is committed to providing great service to our community in an unbiased fashion, enforcing our local, state and federal laws. We strive to be proactive in our approach, to be active in community policing, to be visible to our citizens and listen to your concerns. We feel that policing a community is more than just a profession, it’s a calling.
The Oologah Police Department values your input and feedback and has an open-door policy to you. You can visit us anytime the door is open, just to say hi, or to express your concerns. If you see something in the community that needs addressed, we will make a pledge to do our best for you.
One of our sayings at the department is, “Just because we are small, doesn’t mean we have to act small.” That means we strive to be as well trained, to operate, have processes and have access to the same technology that larger departments have. We want our community to be proud of its department, taking care of the equipment you entrust us with and looking good while we do it.
Thank you for allowing me to be your Chief and the Chief of the Oologah Police Department. Together we can keep Oologah the great community that it is and always has been.
